How to Select the Right Consumables for Your Line
A practical guide to choosing impeders, ferrites, and knives that maximize your profitability.
The importance of correct selection
Choosing the wrong consumable not only affects the quality of the final product, but can cause severe damage to the main machinery and increase the line's energy consumption by up to 20%.
Quick selection guide
Impeders
For high-frequency welding, the choice between continuous flow or return flow will depend on the capacity of your cooling system and the tube diameter. Return flow offers better thermal control.
Ferrites
Ensure that the ferrite diameter occupies the maximum possible space inside the tube without touching the walls. A high-quality ferrite guarantees a concentrated and stable magnetic field.
Scarfing Inserts
The coating (TiN vs Al₂O₃) should be selected based on the type of steel your plant processes. Titanium nitride offers excellent wear resistance in standard steels.
